This sweet patient came in because the veneer on her front tooth was broken. While she was talking to us about replacing it, she mentioned that she was never happy with her smile, since she felt her veneers did not look natural. She had a bad dental experience at her last office and said her last dentist did not seem to want to work with her to achieve a better esthetic, so she simply gave up on having the perfect smile. We offered to replace all her veneers and used her temporaries to find the perfect shape, contour, and color to give her the smile of her dreams!

We removed the old veneers and made the patient temporary crowns. She was very self-concious of the square shape of her teeth and said she felt that they were "bucked out" and made her lip stand out. We changed the shape of her canines and laterals in order to make them more natural-looking and less square and tucked the edges of her teeth to give more natural lip support. We made the temporaries as close to the end result as possible so our patient would be confident in the work she was receiving. We let her go home for a few days wearing the temporaries so that she could see what they felt like while eating, speaking, and chewing.

Once the patient was ready, we milled full coverage crowns in our office. Our patient was thrilled with the results, and so are we!!
